Rantasaurus!!

ok so this is starting to annoy and frankly
piss me off.
i know its kind of an offbeat topic
to rant about.
band merch. more or less the shirts
one i saw today kind of did it for me
this one right here.


i mean seriously?
i dont even know what the band
sounds like, quit frankly i dont
need to.
They have nothing to do with nintendo
or pac man or even donkey kong
because the font.
atleast on the one i saw
was of old school donky kong font.
i know "nintendocore"
is somewhat of a small genre
if it should be one at all anyways.
but when shirts and art on band t's
have NOTHING to do with anything
especailly the music it portrays
it annoys me.

its just some new trendy thing
and its hip and cool to have bright colors
retro or "classic" toons EVERYWHERE
and slap a band name with it.
really? wow.

the past few years
merch has gone downhill
tremendisouly
in every-way.
especially originality.

you fail bands,
you fail artists
you fail lemmings.

get over it

how may one grow when another holds
an expectation of what was and
continue to think what will be?
one must banish such
ideals if they wish to truly
see and notice growth
rather than live in what was
this shall forever
keep such a person
as the infant learning to crawl
we can flurish hence forth
if done correctly.
this may only happen
if the recipient has and is
changing their direction.

we are all guilty of this.
this is but mans hardest
feet to conquer these days
so many people put expectations
on day to day, second to second
situations on how one will
react or not react
rather than letting
the moment flow.
like water.
it is constant
continuously changing.
expectations are but shackles
plaguing a mind
setting one up for failure
in most cases.

loose your self importance
your self pride
and let nature take its course
for going into situations
any and all for that matter
with pre determined
outcomes
how can you go wrong?
because you are correct
in expecting it that way.
which will re assure you
of the failure.
rather than letting
change and development
occur.

we are all guilty of this yes
as i know i am too.

the clouds parted today
and my day became much
brighter than when it started
i saw the sun.
a smile came across my cheeks
and i felt warm all over.
----

everyday is a renewal
i am thankful for this.

its a case of learning to look at hardship.
as if today the rain is coming on strong
But tomorrow the sun
is going to come out again.
What we let bother us are things
in reality, Temporary in nature
----
with a strong rainstorm,
though intense
it cannot last indefinitely
with its passing, comes the sun.
----

sitting atop the grains of sand
as the waves crash upon me
i tilt my head squinting
from the suns rays beating down
lifting my left hand
to cover for shelter
I'm reminded of this.
No matter our surroundings
No mater how hard we try.
we shall always be vulnerable
no where to hide.
----

This seamless fabrication
unwinding at each tether
like a childhood blankey
being held for dire life
is now blowing in the wind
as if its an unwanted balloon
the grasp from yesterdays past
is now an open palm
releasing such bonds

remember hope?

its so much easier to be angry than happy.
anger is a weakness,
you become the victim
..
all we can do now is destroy our walls
of expectation
and start a fresh foundation
we can do this
we can fit
its just if we allow us to or not.
this is something i cannot and hope not
to loose.
be fair to me.
i will with you.

love is everything.
